Chris Delaney - Axe the HST

David and Chris Delaney have another chat about the HST and what is happening in BC with the movement to stop its implementation.

In this interview, Chris outlines some of the contingency plans that are on the table if the Liberal government does not stop the HST on its own. These include Citizens' Initiative as well as Recall, with maybe Gordon Campbell himself the target of the recall movement.

And you can watch the original interview with Chris about the HST as well

"We have officially opened a bank account for Fight HST at TD Canada Trust - 2198 West 41st Ave. Vancouver, BC  V6M 1Z1.

We can now receive donations. Sal Vetro and Bill Tieleman are the signatories on the account, which requires both their signatures as per the regulations for Elections BC," Chris Delaney.

Donations (by cheque only) can be made to:

Fight HST
370 East Broadway,
P. O. Box 95023,
Vancouver BC
V5T 4T8

"For now, donations and expenditures can be made without restriction.

Once we file for the petition, we will come under the auspices of Elections BC regulations concerning fundraising, etc. We are not allowed to use Visa or Mastercard for donations during the petition period, so have decided to forego this from the start. All funds received will go toward rally expenses and costs associated with canvassing.

I've donated $200 to get the fund started, and have been matched by David Ingram of the Centa Group - so we have $400 to start so far."
